Rains’ Creative Outpouring Keeps On Delighting Us
The rain was nowhere to be found, and yet had the strange sensation of being under it. That was thanks to Danish composer Frederik Valentin, who got us in the mood to put on one of the brand’s iconic raincoats with a very fitting soundtrack, a mix made up of drop, puddle and splash sound recordings. Needless to say, the uncontested star of the show was the famous waterproof fabric. On the catwalk, models with damp her and drip-covered skin paraded in single file, as if scouring the building’s walls in search of shelter. Further on, fringes give the impression of being an extension of this imaginary rain. Rains’ creative outpouring will never cease to delight us. We saw Diane Pernet, Sofia Roe, Pierre Painchaud and Coralie Barbier.
