The Dinner of The Friends of Jeu de Paume Honours Thomas Demand’s Retrospective Exhibition

On Monday 13, The Friends of Jeu de Paume organized the annual Friend’s dinner, this time honouring German artist Thomas Demand, whose exhibition “ The Stutter of History” is currently on display at the museum. The guests had the opportunity to discover the sixty works composing the exhibition, which included photographs, films and wallpapers. The visit was accompanied by musical interludes from Amandine Lei and Florent Brannens, violinists from the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra. The performances were followed by a dinner held in the very exhibition rooms, with each table featuring a floral illustration by Jefferson Fouquet specially designed to echo the works. The elegant evening was attended by the Jeu de Paume’s president Alain Dominique Perrin, the president of the Friends of the Jeu de Paume, Solange Salem-Rein, and the Jeu de Paume’s director Quentin Bajac.
