Le Coeur and the magazine Profane celebrate Catherine Deneuve
While the Cannes Film Festival is in full swing on the Croisette, the gallery Le Cœur Paris, in association with Profane, celebrates the icon of French cinema Catherine Deneuve in an intimately entitled exhibition, “Catherine et moi”. From May 19 to 27, this tribute initiated by Laurent Goumarre offers a new look at the actress – or rather several looks. This Friday, journalists and friends gathered at the opening to honour Jacques Demy’s emblematic muse. Among the paintings, drawings, but also amateur portraits collected on the Internet, the actress intrigues. She is also at the centre of the fourth issue of the magazine Profane, which attempts to pierce the mysticism of the actress and the admiration she inspires in many artists. Appointment with an icon.
