Lancôme and Olympia Le-Tan in Wonderland
All beauty addicts have already succumbed to it: while the make-up line signed Olympia Le-Tan for Lancôme appeared in boutiques in September, there was no better time than Parisian fashion week to celebrate its success. After all, knowing the wonderful-literary universe of the creator, one might have been surprised that she still hasn’t infiltrated the field of beauty – it’s now done. For one evening, the Hôtel de Crillon transformed itself into “Olympia’s Wonderland”, its magical universe inspired by the Lancôme archives, and welcomed visitors, for a very private dinner under her golden mouldings and candlesticks, the top model Arizona Muse, the actress Josephine de la Baume, the photographer Ellen von Unwerth or the jewellery designer Sabine Getty. A feast dinner that ended in beauty with the cutting of a pastel pink piece that Ellen von Unwerth hastened to immortalize while everyone was already licking their lips. We admit it, the “Olympia’s Wonderland” collection has the same effect.
