Lafayette x Toiletpaper party award
Since the group Galeries Lafayette supported the last issue of Toiletpaper – issue #6, and did wonderfully with the contemporary spirit of the artist’s half-book half-magazine, the nocturnal symbiosis was obvious. Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari therefore invested the walls of the Maxim’s with their madness for the eagerly awaited evening of the Lafayette Prize, which every year maliciously shakes the arty nights of the FIAC.
Saywho thus peregrinated in the art nouveau rooms of the institution of the rue Royale, danced with fever in the company of pole dancers and chippendales sprinkled with Disaronno on the background of Italian Eurodance, The festivities also celebrated the recipient of this year’s award to artist Michaela Eichwald. A recognition that offers him the delightful prospect of a solo show at the Palais de Tokyo. This was the rhythm of the night, Oh night, Oh yeah!
