The Exquisite “Omar la fraise” Evening at Le Club by Albane
Despite their success in theatres, comedy films are rarely screened at Cannes Film Festival. Therefore, we are pleased to highlight the presence of the exquisite and delightful “Omar la fraise”. For his first feature film, director Elias Belkeddar has summoned the talented Reda Kateb and Benoît Magimel, who play two lifelong friends, hoodlums on the run, who have come to Algiers to hide out for a while. After the screening, the film’s crew came to celebrate the premiere at the Terrasse by Albane, where we met Meriem Amiar, Gaspard Augé, and Alice Moitié.
