The First Edition of the Chaumet Echo Culture Awards at the Philanthro-Lab
This is an initiative that we admire: a combination of culture and female empowerment. A Parisian High Jewellery Maison with a 240-year history, Chaumet, has recently launched its new engagement programme. Presented yesterday evening, the Echo Culture Awards is a prize aimed at rewarding the best cultural projects carried out by women. This initiative comes from the President of the Maison, Jean-Marc Mansvel, and his wish to associate culture, so dear to him, and women, who have played a major role in the history of Chaumet, best epitomised in the figure of Empress Joséphine. It was thus within the walls of the superb Philanthro-Lab in Paris that the first edition of this programme was introduced. Actress and director Sandrine Kiberlain presided over the jury and had the honour of bestowing the 1st prize upon Claire Gibault for her Paris Mozart Orchestra. During this evening that highlighted values of knowledge, innovation and sharing, we met François Alu, Alexandra Fain and Ingrid Brochard, and Victoria Monfort among many others.
