Kamel Mennour Celebrates its Artists During Art Basel Paris
A key player in the artistic scene, Kamel Mennour is at the centre stage during Paris Art Week. One of the most prominent participats in Art Basel Paris, held this year under the Grand Palais glass ceiling, the Parisian gallery exhibits a selection of works by its artists, including Claire Fontaine, Camille Henrot, Alicja Kwade, Lee Ufan, and Ugo Rondinone. At its Parisian headquarters, Mennour presents three exhibitions: “Blue Days Dust” by Polish artist Alicja Kwade, on 47 rue Saint-André-des-Arts; “Acte II: Fragmenter” by Algerian painter Dhewadi Hadjab, on 28 avenue Matignon; and “still” by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, on the 5 and 6 rue du Pont de Lodi.
Throughout this hectic week, we had the pleasure of meeting Kamel Mennour and its artists at several events, starting with Ugo Rondinone and Dhewadi Hadjab’s exhibition openings, the inauguration of Matignon Saint-Honoré, or the evening devoted to the artists at the Manko, where we crossed paths with Jean de Loisy, Maja Hoffmann, Manuela Rayo, John Nollet, Nicolas Trembley, and many more.
