To Mix Up Sustainable Fashion and the Arts with Kamad Paris Fall 2023

Making sustainable fashion sexy is no easy task, but rest assured that KAMAD has achieved the impossible. The Parisian brand founded by a crew of cool kids, Selima, Mathilde, Mariano and Deni relies on the importance of French know-how with pieces that are both made in France and upcycled. Le Château, the collection presented last Thursday mixed streetwear and baroque influences with a blurred border between fashion and contemporary art: guests were able to discover a live textile performance by artist Clara Tournay. In short, a rather promising collection that invited us to reflect on our collective imagination and on the central role of fashion as a tool of reflection in our societies.
