The Gallery Mitterrand located rue du Temple, inaugurated Thursday its new space dedicated to contemporary creation with two exhibitions. The first, “Deep Violet” presents Mark Handforth, a British sculptor who exposes a monumental, gleaming star with dented branches. In the former space, the gallery presents the artist Richard Pettibone for his first solo exhibition in France. The Gallery exhibits a selection of 74 “discounts”. Cover versions by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Piet Mondrian and Marcel Duchamp.
