Federico Cina Brings his Motherland to the Catwalk

For his Spring-Summer 24 collection, Federico Cina is taking up a theme very dear to him: his homeland, Romagna. This subject has always been central for the Italian designer and a core element in the brand’s essence. This time, however, he has focused on the history of the land itself, on how it has been cultivated, nurtured and worked. Titled TERRA, the collection is about synergy and the rejection of industrial exploitation in favour of a natural, unmediated connection with our environment. The landscape of Romagna and its torrid and arid atmosphere are translated into summer colours and fabrics. Likewise, jute sacks are transformed into jumpers, paying homage to craftsmanship and traditional techniques like the use of terracotta.  Federico Cina’s clothes celebrate the ancient and indestructible bond between man and his natural environment, a tribute that was very well received by the celebrities in attendance, including Matteo Turchi, Jordan Anderson, Marvely, Callum Mullin and Yanis Serbout.
