Ermanno Scervino’s Ode to Tailoring

For spring-summer 2024, Ermanno Scervino focuses on the essence of clothing and builds a wardrobe of unique pieces that speak for the know-how and expertise of the atelier and its artisans. The Florentine brand celebrates femininity through elaborate embroidery, precious fabrics and volumes that enhance the natural shapes of the body. The Scervino woman is strong-willed, sensual, determined and free, as are the clothes on the runway. Here are ethereal, impalpable dresses; bustier dresses that mark the figure and become canvases designed with floral embroidery; pleated ruffles slip over bodice dresses. The floral pattern comes to life on organza adorning knitwear, parkas and oversized trench coats. A celebration of artisan fashion and clothes as a tool of self-determination. In the front row at the show, we met Paola Turani, Mara Lafontan, Chloè Lecaraux, Paola Cossentino, Martina Colombari and Olivia Palermo.
