Djabril Boukhenaïssi Wins the ART & ENVIRONMENT PRIZE by Guerlain x Lee Ufan Arles
We can only praise this new prize awarded to Djabril Boukhenaïssi. The winner was selected from 381 entries and five finalists by a jury of leading figures from the world of culture, chaired by Lee Ufan. This year’s laureate, Djabril Boukhenaïssi, will receive six to eight weeks of mentoring as part of a residency that will culminate in a solo exhibition at Lee Ufan’s Espace MA in Arles, in the summer of 2024. Located in the heart of the city, Lee Ufan Arles is both a museum devoted to Lee Ufan’s historical and recent work, and a place promoting contemporary artistic creation and cultural encounters. The Prize offers the winner the chance to have their project shown to a local and international audience, thus increasing their visibility and providing a major springboard for their career. Furthermore, it offers the winner the chance to work in close collaboration with Maison Guerlain.
