Didier Ludot Celebrates 50 Years of Haute Couture at the Palais Royal

Entering a Didier Ludot boutique means venturing into a tailor-made experience, which feels like discovering a universe sewn with a gold thread. Since the 1970s, Didier Ludot became an institution of vintage haute couture, based in the heart of the Palais Royal, in the charming Galerie de Montpensier. The boutique is filled with gems from the history of fashion: Chanel suits, little black dresses by Balenciaga, Christian Dior or Yves Saint Laurent, Courrèges jackets, Hermès bags and Roger Vivier shoes…Here, vintage is elevated to the artwork status, and each piece tells a whole story. To celebrate the golden anniversary of this iconic venue, 50 exceptional pieces are being offered on sale. This exceptional selection was curated by the master himself, and designed by Hubert Le Gall and Félix Farrington.

A pioneer in his field, Didier Ludot celebrated the 50th anniversary of his boutique on Sunday 25th, as a prelude to Paris Fashion Week. Stéphane Rolland, one of the few independent French couturiers running his own fashion Maison, was the guest of honour of the evening!

This iconic anniversary gathered Françis Kurkdjian, Diane Pernet, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Elie Top, Caroline Loeb, Niki Galopin, and many more.
