Berlin-Style Deconstruction by Ottolinger

On the first Sunday of October, the faithful congregate at Ottolinger’s house. This sacred meeting for fashion devotees was held at a former bank in the 9th arrondissement in Paris, which the duo behind the brand, composed of Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient, had imbued with their signature Berlin spirit. The choice of this unorthodox venue was an unequivocal statement of intent: its windows, covered in colourful graffiti, and the intense techno soundtrack heralded what was sure to be a subversive fashion show.

The duo delivered a master class on the art of deconstruction. Whether it was knitwear, mesh dresses, tailored suits or bodysuits, not a single clothing item was spared from their ingenious restyling. Yet silhouettes remained coherent and balanced, exuding a unique and sensitive sense of femininity that seduced us all. In terms of footwear, we spotted the result of their latest collaboration with Puma: shoes looking like cracked-up rugby balls that are already making a sensation. Our special mention goes to the closing bridal gowns, which made even the most sceptical of us dream of marriage…

Among the many celebrities in attendance, we spotted Tyga, Achilles Ion Gabriel, Amiaya, Kiwi Lee, and Gina Alice, to name but a few.
