In the Clouds at Palais Galliera
To celebrate Jonathan Hansen’s “In the Clouds” collection, Sarah Andelman from “Just an Idea” suggested meeting at the Palais Galliera to visit the exhibition “1997: Fashion Big Bang”. Curator Alexandre Samson has dedicated a section of the show to Colette, which opened in March of that decisive year. Facing a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower from the balcony, acclaimed bartender Colin Peter Field prepared custom-made blue cocktails matching Hansen’s glasses, made in Chechnya. Next to him, Hanz Gueco amazed guests with appetizers served on the designer’s plates, which feature dense clouds against a blue or grey sky, created in collaboration with Marie Daâge. Humid House designed the floral arrangements, and GBBH loudspeakers (founded by Gauthier Borsarello) played a special 1997 playlist.
