Camille Henrot in the spotlight a few hours before the opening of her carte blanche at the Palais de Tokyo

Camille Henrot is not on her first try. Winner of the Silver Lion at the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013, the French artist has to her credit several solo exhibitions in international institutions such as the New Museum or the Kunsthalle Wien. No wonder then that the Palais de Tokyo asked her to offer her her third carte blanche after Philippe Parreno and Tino Sehgal. While “Days are Dogs”, the large-scale exhibition that will infiltrate every space of the Palais, will be officially inaugurated this Monday, October 16, it is at the Pavillon Ledoyen that the galleries Kamel Mennour, Metro Pictures and Koenig Galerie (who represent the artist respectively in Paris/London, New York and Berlin) invited art professionals for a celebratory dinner. Among them, none other than the great Cindy Sherman who joined Nathalie Rykiel or Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers to applaud the discreet Camille Henrot upon her arrival in the establishment of Chief Yannick Alléno. As the Fiac and its many events approach, an ultra-privileged evening that gives the green light for a week rich in art.
