CabaretS, the Extravagant Chaillot Expérience #3
With a dash of humor and a lot of extravagance, Chaillot Expérience #3 introduces us to the many facets of cabaret through workshops and performances. Thanks to flamboyant performers, the audience is immersed in the night life, wandering among Renaissance polyphony, cabaret creatures and breath turned beatbox. Musical performances, photo exhibitions or make-up workshops: it’s a real discovery of the various disciplines of the cabaret world.
For the occasion, François Chaignaud and Geoffroy Jourdain also unveiled their new performance called In absentia. Imagine thirteen performers, surrounding you with their dance and song. Like a constellation, you and the other spectators form concentric circles that serve as the artists’ playground. At the heart of the song-making process, you’ll be swept away by the rhythms of sacred Renaissance music and mysterious frescoes.
