A Taste of Brazil at Havaianas “Free your mind and your soul” Evening
We couldn’t think of a better day to celebrate flip-flops in Paris. June 21 is the height of Fashion Week, the start of summer and the Fête de la musique. But that’s not all: it’s also International Free Feet Day, a festive date created by the brand to encourage people to wear flip-flops, whatever the circumstances. Co-organised by Style Not com, Saveria Mendela and Havaianas, the event brought together friends, journalists and influencers at HAVAIANAS BAR. As soon as guests walked through the door of the flower-decked antechamber, they were plunged into a lush tropical setting. From the flip-flop bar, where guests slipped into comfortable flip-flops, to the cocktail bar, which offered a menu featuring Brazilian dishes and signature drinks like caipirinha. Needless to say, the evening was not without a fitting soundtrack: live Brazilian samba and Jeune Pouce’s DJ set transported us momentarily to the South American country. Some of the celebrities in attendance included Barbie Ferreira, the brand’s muse, Lena Mahfouf, Ester Manas, Marc Forné, Marcos Fecchino, Yasora Thibus, Race Imboden, Ginevra Mavilla, Piu Piu and Sofia Achaval.
