The Comité Matignon Saint-Honoré Brings Together Some Thirty Galleries for Paris Art Week

Matignon Saint-Honoré brings together thirty-one antique, modern, contemporary and design art galleries, ranging from primary to secondary market, located at the intersection of Avenue Matignon and Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. The association aims to promote the latest artistic trends and create events in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.

The 8th arrondissement, and in particular the Matignon Saint-Honoré district, has long been one of the epicentres of the French capital’s artistic and cultural effervescence, fostered by the proximity of major cultural institutions such as the Grand Palais and the Petit Palais, and by prestigious art fairs. Created to inform and support its members, the Association Matignon Saint-Honoré aims to contribute to the district’s cultural development by promoting the visibility of its member galleries.

A firm believer in the force of collective action, the Association Matignon Saint-Honoré aims to foster a dynamic synergy and a vibrant atmosphere where art and creativity are celebrated in all their forms, reinforcing Paris’s position – and that of the district in particular – as an international capital of art.

Kicking off Paris Art Week, the Association Matignon Saint-Honoré has chosen Monday 14th October 2024 for its inaugural cocktail event in which the member galleries will each propose an event, book-signing, performance or exhibition opening.
