Y/Project X Canada Goose: Over the moon

The idea was to offer a couture dimension to highly-technical designs, and focus on performance rather than embellishments. For Glenn Martens, the creative director of Parisian label Y/Project, working with winter clothing manufacturer Canada Goose was the occasion to give free rein to his creativity. This collaboration ultimately became about deconstructing the clothes in order to re-construct and reinvent, as well as providing another kind of nobility to highly popular clothing. Martens called on photographer Arnaud Lajeunie to support his vision. His images show a collection with playful proportions and an extreme playfulness. With inventive cuts and one-of-a-kind sense of detail, Glenn Martens transcends Canada Goose into the future.
