The legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, A Belmond Train, is reinventing history as an exclusive private sleeper designed by contemporary artist JR, unveiled during the Venice Arte Biennale. Between April 17 and 22, the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express will be giving the public a unique opportunity to view the interior of this iconic carriage from different angles and discover its different spaces, reimagined by JR, including a bedroom, a private bathroom, a lounge, a library and a secret tea room. Hidden clues and secret details are concealed in the skilfully crafted marquetry and evocative spaces, designed to awaken the viewer’s curiosity and stimulate their imagination.
