Adopting the octagon of the N°5 perfume stopper for its dial and lacquering it in black, borrowing the legendary quilted bag’s chain intertwined with leather to make its strap, it immediately drew a lot of attention. Designed in 1987 by Jacques Helleu, Artistic Director of the House, who had joined it thirty years earlier.
