Intercontinental Khao Yai Hotel x Bill Bensley: A Streetcar Named Desire

Inspired by the former colonial railway stations and the old-fashioned charm of the early 20th century railroads, designer Bill Bensley has transformed the Intercontinental Khao Yai Hotel into a place of immobile travel. Behind this apparent contradiction lies a decoration project that takes up the codes of the great hours of the train. With its portholes, its long rooms and its uniformed personnel, the only thing missing is the steam and whistles. The result is a very unexpected atmosphere with a nod to the old movies: Orient Express or Streetcar Named Desire, choose the one you want to imagine yourself in!
