After studying in Paris at the School of the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, the young Elie went on to work for Yves Saint Laurent, where, through several decisive encounters, his vocation was set. He then met the great Elbaz who trusted him to create the first pieces for his collections. For more than ten years, the collaboration at Lanvin saw the triumph of “haute couture jewelry”. Using the strength from this success, in 2015 Elie decided to create a line of jewelry that bears his name: Maison Elie Top. Strong lines and solid volumes with baroque airs and futuristic accents produce a beautiful balance oscillating between tradition and innovation. Naturally chic, his confident taste comes to light in a brand new collaboration with the Spanish Empire. It finds here a new trait that we didn’t know about.
