Cassina x Lancia: Feeling at Home

The New Ypsilon is the first 100% electric Lancia and represents the initial step on the path towards the brand’s Renaissance. It will be presented in February in the limited edition version created together with Cassina. In total, 1906 cars will be produced by this precious collaboration involving the car manufacturer and the design brand. Each model will be numbered and certified and will have great comfort. Cassina and Lancia – which have long been working to create a new design language in the automotive sector, strongly inspired by domestic well-being – share a history with strong Italian roots, but also values such as innovation with respect for tradition and the experimentation of new creative languages oriented towards a path of sustainability and electric mobility. “The New Lancia Ypsilon marks an important step in Lancia’s electrification strategy,” explains Luca Napolitano, CEO of Lancia. “We celebrate this moment with the excellence of Italian design like Cassina, which participated in the attention to detail, materials, colours, spaces and the first table used inside a car. The goal? Feel at home, wherever you are”. By Germano D’Acquisto
