Soeur Brings Paris To Milan
Founded in 2007 by sisters Angélique and Domitille Brion, Soeur is opening its first store in Italy in Via Orefici 1, just a few steps from Milan Cathedral, which metamorphosed into an Eiffel Tower for one night. The brand’s femininity meets the rationality of Milanese architecture in a three-story boutique that blends materials like wood, travertine and brass. Guests in attendance, which included Roberta Benaglia, Francesca Mapelli, Lorenzo Bises, and Filippo Cavalli, were able to explore the label’s European flair and browse its latest collections as well as the corner featuring the new men’s range, Frère, and the accessories department, including bags, footwear, and jewellery. The bags from the Winona and Saudade collections brought all eyes to them through their soft leather lines, just like the roundness of the resin necklaces, and the clean lines of the tailored jackets. In sum, a blend of noble materials with a touch of elegant sobriety. During the opening, Domitille Brion – the brand’s Founder and Creative Director – stated “I want everyone who dresses in Soeur’s garments to feel understood and valued”.
