An icon of Parisian fashion, Agnès b. presented her men’s spring-summer 2019 collection on the last day of Paris Men’s Fashion Week. This season, the designer had some surprises up her sleeve. For her guests, coming to the Rue Dieu show space is always like coming home. In the front row, actors Diane Rouxel, Corentin Fila and Natacha Régnier took their seats to see rising star Rod Paradot walk the show. Especially for Agnès b., the young actor went from the big screen to the Fashion Week runway walking the show among the models. His presence refers to the importance of cinema in Agnès b’s creative process. Workwear is an Agnès b. staple, and it was greatly represented in this collection, just like the use of jersey for clothes that allow movement. So much so that at the end of the show Danseur Etoile Germain Louvet demonstrated the full extent clothes’ ease with a special dance performance. Raw talent, simplicity, and elegance.
