Perrotin Kicks Off the 2024 Edition of Art Basel

An absolute must for those attending the international art fair, the Perrotin Art Basel Party has marked the launch of Art Basel every year since 2018. Last Tuesday, the prestigious gallery took over the Elisabethenkirche to host a festive evening, organised in partnership with Art Review, and with the sponsorship of Perrier Jouët, Italicus, Monkey 47, gathering all key players on the contemporary art scene. 

For this 2024 edition of the fair, which runs from June 12th to 16th, Art Basel features over 200 international galleries, showcasing the work of 4000 artists from all over the world. Needless to say, among the many exhibitors in the programme we find Perrotin’s booth, where visitors can discover pieces by Jean-Michel Othoniel, Ali Banisadr, Lynn Chadwick, Iván Argote, Claire Tabouret, KOAK, Johan Creten or Takashi Murakami, among other artists represented by the gallery. 

Some of the personalities who came together in this ephemeral dancefloor, which featured DJ sets by Pedro Winter, Sam Boutruche, Andy 4000, b2b, and live performances by Miki Duplay and Jacques, included artists Laurent Grasso, Wim Delvoye, Julian Charrière, Ali Banadr, Emma Webster, Xiyao Wang, Jean-Michel Othoniel, Johan Creten, Gregor Hildebrandt and Sarah Anders, Wim Delvoye, Julian Charrière, Ali Banisadr, Emma Webster, Xiyao Wang, Jean-Michel Othoniel, Johan Creten, Gregor Hildebrandt as well as Sarah Andelman, Jérôme Sans, Paul Laster, Fabrice Bousteau, Charles Carmignac, and Tatiana Franck, to name but a few.
