Milan Fashion Week Day 4. Italian brand Agnona presented their SS19 collection at Palazzo dell’Arte, which houses the Triennale di Milano. Backstage, artistic director Simon Holloway was working on last-minute details before the show. With this collection, Agnona continues to explore the sartorial possibilities of the woman’s suit. Key pieces are the trench coat, the shirt and trousers in vicuña poplin (the most precious cashmere). Color is key to this collection: natural shades of vicuña, sandalwood, pink, Matcha green tea. The movement of the voluminous trench coats as well as the layered materials punctuate the show. The casting is impressing for it gathers top models from all generations, such as Edie Campbell and Amber Valletta. Attending the show were some of the leaders of the greatest fashion families: Gildo Zegna (CEO of the Italian group Zegna), Francesco Sassi (CEO of Valentino), Michele Norsa (CEO of Missoni) as well as the managing director of Pitti Immagine, Raffaello Napoleone. The international press was also present, notably Vogue International’s Suzy Menkes, as well as Tamu Mcpherson or Irene Kim.
