The First Edition of the Fondation Chaillot’s Gala Dinner
Thanks to the support of Fondation Chaillot President Laurent Martinet and partners la maison Dior and L’Oréal Paris, this major artistic event of the season was organised in an outstanding location. The evening began with a performance of “Contre-nature”, the latest creation of the choreographer and director of Chaillot – Théâtre national de la Danse, Rachid Ouramdane, followed by a dinner in front of the Eiffel Tower. Imagined by Tatiana Levha and Cédric Grolet partnership with Le Meurice, the event brought together many leading figures from the worlds of culture and business. All the proceeds from this wonderful evening will be donated to the Fondation Chaillot, whose mission is to provide financial support for the activities of the only national theatre dedicated to dance, and to support the artistic vitality of contemporary choreographic creation on a national and international scale. It also promotes access to culture for as many people as possible, especially young people, and encourages creative work applied to the digital world as well as the preservation of the Theatre’s exceptional heritage. Finally, a performance by Sharon Eyal got the audience ready for Barbara Butch’s DJ set, which set the dancefloor alight.
