Hip-hop and electronic music were in the spotlight at the third edition of the H&M block party last weekend. A multi-sensory afternoon filled with music lovers in the large spaces in & out of Electric, at the very end of the Parc des Expositions. And it was beautiful, very beautiful even.
On the programme: a blazing sun, therefore, to welcome 2500 guests – including a handful of VIPs, a plethora of animations and performances and, of course, a two-speed line-up with the fine flower of Parisian electro (DJ Pone, Para-One, So-Me, DVNO…) and the live galvanising teenager Yelle. Add to that Myth Syzer, Everydayz, Twinsmatic and Iamnodoby for generation Y the symbiosis is total.
Note the pleasure of the eyes, well-being and hedonism: hip-hop dance shows, a skate demo, the inevitable nails art workshops, an H&M Divided pop-up store and a customisation stand by L’Atelier Amelot. And yes, all that.
