A Taste of Étienne de Crécy’s New Album, WARM UP
A pioneer of house music, Étienne de Crécy is an emblematic figure of the French Touch, author of many of the hits that set dancefloors alight in the 90s. This week, the French producer and DJ is imbuing the Perrotin Gallery in Paris with his sophisticated house beats, which he keeps on reinventing, with an exclusive preview of his new album WARM UP. An eagerly awaited comeback album, this new release comes 8 years after his last project with Baxter Dury and Delilah Holliday, the album B.E.D., which came out in 2018. Featuring multiple collaborations, including the single World Away, co-written by Alexis Taylor and unveiled in November 2024, WARM UP is also backed by 11 videos directed by Marie and Etienne de Crécy.
During the event, held at the heart of Nick Doyle’s installation, guests enjoyed an exclusive preview of the album’s visuals over a cocktail reception courtesy of Don Papa Rhum. Alongside Étienne de Crécy, we met Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Bérengère Krief, Gunther Love, Julien Carpentier and Guillaume Sanchez.
