Eyeliner and brush in hand, Nicolas Ouchenir poetizes the new Shiseido collection

Shiseido and Nicolas Ouchenir have more in common than you think. This week, the Japanese luxury cosmetics house launched a new range of products in homage to its Japanese roots. The Eyeliners Inkstroke are small jewels of technicality which are directly inspired by the ancestral art of calligraphy, practice which (you see where one wants to go) has no secret for Nicolas Ouchenir. With this collaboration presented this week at colette, make-up becomes a carrier of poetry. Nicolas Ouchenir signs six beauty visuals, drawing his words on the faces of the models Alice Aufray and Gabi de Vitry with the eyeliner turned brush. The photographs, works of art by Antoine and Charlie, were the subject of an ephemeral exhibition at the concept store on Saint-Honoré Street, while Shiseido guests could also discover two exclusive Shadows among the brand new “Eye Collection”.
