For Deep House aficionados and other contemporary sounds, the good news of the week came from across the Channel with the Parisian premiere of the DO NOT DISTURB evenings, an ultra-festive part of the Boiler Room collective hosted by the W – Paris, London and NY hotels.
Boiler Room is the live music website that has been offering a weekly live show from Berlin, L.A and N.Y for almost four years now, with the cream of the crop on the turntables. After the W Leicester Square in London on November 14th, the undergroung band set up their speakers last night in the E-WOW suite of the W Paris Opera. The one we know only too well, the one that welcomed a myriad of artists on its circular king size, shaken by the Veuve Cliquot cuvées and the most epic battles of polochons. But our 2P of the second had never known such an anthology of electronic sizes. On the menu of DO NOT DISTURB session #2: Dimitri Von Paris, Dj Deep, Alan Braxe, Ivan Smagghe, Cassius, and dOP. A line-up that speaks for itself and can be experienced live… on the spot or on the web, therefore.
