Two films in the spotlight last night on Albane Cléret’s rooftop. Life goes on, with Moët & Chandon and Belvedere vodka alongside the most illustrious stars of international cinema – whether they produce, play, manage, communicate or invest. As for the rain, it has not yet fallen on the city, a rare meteorological fact in mid-Festival.
Gilles Lellouche and Diane Kruger were with director Fabienne Berthaud after the special screening of the film”Sky”, a road movie about a woman who went to the United States with her husband to save their marriage. The actress kills two birds with one stone while defending’Maryland’, Alice Winocour’s second feature film presented in the Un Certain Regard category.
Gold-plated switch, a few hours later, to welcome around the pool the team of the film”Enragés”, in official competition, at the end of the screening. The complete cast joined the fifth and final floor – Franck Gastambide, Lambert Wilson, Virginie Ledoyen and Guillaume Gouix – before it opened its doors to another team for the big daily night: the French voices of the last Pixar, starring Mélanie Laurent, Pierre Niney and Charlotte le Bon. With, of course, always a hint of the Grand Journal.
