‘Bleu’: Claire Laffut releases her first album with a private showcase
Claire Laffut is living her dream. To celebrate the release of her first album with Decca Records, the young Belgian singer had invited a few friends to a colorful showcase at La Caserne in Paris’ 10th arrondissement. The whole night was inspired by her album title, ‘Bleu’, with blue scenography and cocktails. As she explained in our interview before the album release, ‘Bleu’ is also a reference to her young career and to the color she’s been obsessed with ever since she spent lockdown in Corsica. From the blue sky and pure water surrounding the island, she literally kept her love for the color with her by dying her hair blue. At La Caserne, numerous guests were in attendance, such as Constance Jablonski, Matthias Dandois, Sarah Andelman, Pedro Winter or Alice Moitié. The ‘Mojo’ singer took the crowd on a journey by performing some of her best known songs – ‘Vérité’, ‘Étrange Mélange’ – as well as new titles – ‘Tombée dans un rêve’, ‘Hiroshima’, and ‘Nudes’ featuring Yseult – which are all featured on the album.
