If you thought the Cannes Film Festival had already reached its limit of celebrities and glamor, Madame Figaro outdid themselves with their traditional private dinner. Indeed, the magazine showed yesterday the full extent of its influence on La Croisette and beyond. The dinner on the Terrasse by Albane, organized in partnership with Dior and UniFrance, set the bar high by inviting the most prominent personalities in cinema and fashion. The dinner was themed “French Excellence” and aimed at showcasing French culture. Thus, proud representatives of French cinema–such as cult director Agnès Varda and actresses Isabelle Adjani and Elsa Zylberstein–were joined by two generations of top models: 90s supermodels Naomi Campbell and Eva Herzigova as well as Insta-top models Bella Hadid, Hailey Baldwin, and Winnie Harlow. Despite few men in attendance, such as American actor Michael Madsen, women were most definitely the focus of this exceptional evening, this being 71st Festival; we saw more than 70 women coming up the stairs earlier that day following Jury President Cate Blanchett. While Dani took the microphone to keep the party going, there was no way to question where the night would bring the guests next: to the Club by Albane, of course.
