ANDAM Fashion Awards Reveal The 2024 Winners

On Thursday, June 27th, the ANDAM (the National Association for the Development of the Fashion Arts) unveiled the winners of the 35th edition of the prestigious Fashion Awards. Established in 1989 by Nathalie Dufour and chaired by Guillaume Houzé, this major event in French fashion celebrates talented and promising young designers, providing them with financial support and invaluable guidance to develop their brands. It represents an incredible opportunity for these young talents to benefit from invaluable advice and the expertise of professionals that will guide them in structuring and growing their businesses.

Composed of permanent members and invited guests such as Cédric Charbit, Virginie Efira, Augustin Trapenard, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Rossy de Palma and Rosé, the jury, chaired by Anthony Vaccarello, creative director of SAINT LAURENT, revealed the lucky winners of this 2024 edition in the Cour d’Honneur of the Jardins du Palais Royal, with the support of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.

The ANDAM Grand Prix was awarded to Australian designer Christopher Esber, whose elegant and fluid drapery impressed the jury. Other ANDAM prizes, such as the Special Jury Prize and the Accessory Prize, were respectively awarded to Emeric Tchatchoua (3. PARADIS), known for his distinctive bird prints, and Maeden, a Dutch leather goods brand. Pièces Uniques, Edmond Luu’s men’s ready-to-wear brand, won the Pierre Bergé Prize, while Pauline Weinmann of Alternative Innovation received the Innovation Prize for her plant-based memory shape bioresin named Alterskin.

In addition to these winners and jury members, the ceremony brought together numerous influential figures from the fashion and cultural spheres, including Alphonse Maîtrepierre, Pascal Morand, Alexandra Guerain, Alice Barbier, Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, Nicolas Santi-Weil, Lutz Huelle, Stephane Ashpool, Andrea Rosso, Willy Cartier, Rachida Dati, Anja Rubik, Augustin Trapenard, Niels Schneider, Emmanuelle Alt, John Nollet, Alexandre de Betak, Gaspar Noe, Virginie Efira, Rosé, Johanna Senyk…
