A Taste of California from the Nespresso Plage
In the very heart of the Croisette, a very special oasis has made a miraculous appearance, Nespresso Plage. Designed by the renowned coffee roaster, this colourful and refreshing spot transports us, just like a cinematic magic trick, to the sweet Californian shores. It is in this setting, and in the context of Cannes Festival, that Nespresso is making its own kind of premiere: that of its brand new summer collection, starring a range of capsules made from paper home-compostable capsules.
Just ike a Festival programme, this new line was unveiled in several stages, which took the form of three exclusive dinners. The preview has held on Friday 19 and was officiated by chef Jean Imbert, who proposed a 100% plant-based dinner featuring the new capsules. We continued this gustatory journey with a dinner by chef Mory Sacko, who took us into this Californian dream with his 6-course menu. On Monday 22, it was Diego Alarm’s turn go onstage, and he did just that with a delicious menu with vintage Californian and Mexican influences. Among the many celebrities who paid a visit to the Nespresso Plage paradise, we met Julia Garner, Simone Ashley, Matthieu Forget and Jessica Wang.
