The Story of an Evening in Cannes
A second week of the Festival starts, signed with elegance by Michael Kors, who organised an exclusive evening at La Terrasse by Albane, on Monday 22. There were no doubts about the appropriate dress code, from Mélanie Laurent’s black gown with sequin hand embroidery to Coco Rocha’s silver metallic sheath dress, the photocall was lit up by the sublime dresses of the legendary New York designer. Plenty of celebrities and leading figures attended the evening, needless to say, all dressed in the house’s signature outfits: Valentina Sampaio, Claire Holt, Baptiste Giabiconi, Guillaume Canet, Jordan Barrett and the iconic Fan Bingbing and Hai Qing. From JW Marriot’s rooftop, bathed by the last gleams of the day, French singer Joséphine de La Baume and her band Film Noir officiated a harmonious transition into an evening that culminated with a DJ set by Doppelganger. That evening, glamour and glitter were the stars of the Cannes skyline.
