Kimpton St Honoré Hotel Invites Film Noir: When Indie Rock Meets Parisian Luxury
Boulevard des Capucines, a 1917 Art Nouveau facade and… alternative rock? As incompatible a combination as it may sound, last night brought together the flamboyant Kimpton Hotel and a group of indie rock aficionados. To celebrate the “Dia de los Muertos”, French actress and singer Joséphine de la Baume had been invited to enliven the hotel’s restaurant and courtyard. Joséphine’s guests, all dressed up in costumes, gathered for dinner before attending a live concert of Film Noir – a rock garage band founded by the actress and her brother Alexandre in 2018. Those staying at the hotel were able to join Alexa Chung, Augustin Trapenard, and Marlon Magnée to witness Josephine’s talent, this time behind the turntables. A musical atmosphere that did not fail to disrupt the opulence of the Parisian hotel.
