Vernissage 12X21 by Thomas Erber & Antoine de Beaupré

Thomas Erber and Antoine de Beaupré, incorrigible federators of talent and guilty of the most bizarre curiosities of fashion and design, imagine 12×21, a palindrome and digital title of their first exhibition at The Broken Arm. Celebrate summer with panache and eroticism, such is the mantra of this mini photographic tour bringing together unpublished prints of a selection of artists cleverly crafted. The most popular concept store in the Haut-Marais presents the results in its walls until the end of July.

Twelve photographers selected from the duo’s entourage by the same duo, offer with a single shot their vision of the warm season. Warm it promises to be, according to Olivier Amsellem’s diptych print (winner of the Hyères 98 festival) or Sonia Sieff’s erotic-luminescent image called’Les jambes des femmes sont des compas’. The still lifes of Satoshi Saïkusa and Romain Rivière bring this little summer rendezvous to life when Michel Mallard (who signs the exhibition catalogue) and Alexandre de Betak take on the humorous tinkle. Because no, it’s not every day that you see a Darth Vader candleholder delicately placed on a pubis or a man running naked through the streets of Paris. Also in the game: photographers Christophe Rihet, Benoit Peverelli, Jan Walters, Stephane Sednaoui, Elina Kechicheva, Camille Vivier and Hubert Marot, the artist Tiana Langdon or the workshop Relief & Robert Holden, who creates for the occasion a wall piece from an image of Santa Barbara.
