Leblon Delienne Celebrates its 40th Anniversary with a Special Publication

Flammarion, Paris

Founded in Normandy in 1985, Leblon Delienne is a historic workshop that epitomises French excellence and craftsmanship. Produced in its ateliers in Neufchâtel-en-Bray, resin reproductions inspired by Franco-Belgian comic strips (its original specialisation) established the artisans’ reputation and earned the company the distinction of Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company). Led by Juliette de Blegiers since 2018, the maison has continued to broaden its horizons, embracing the Pop Art movement while preserving its heritage. The president has opened the workshop doors to creators from the worlds of contemporary art and design, inviting them to collaborate on pieces featuring iconic pop culture characters. To mark its 40th anniversary, the studio is celebrating its legacy with Pop Sculpture, a publication in which Minnie Mouse, Scrooge McDuck, Catwoman, and Bugs Bunny come to life through remarkable collaborations to reveal this unique dialogue between pop culture and heritage.

Held at Flammarion, the book’s publisher, the launch was attended by Juliette de Blegiers, Suzanna Flammarion, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Sarah Andelman…
