Up until now we were a little bit reluctant to mention football in our columns, but we must now make amends and admit that we are really enthused by the collaboration between Y-3 and Zinedine Zidane. Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas have successfully collaborated for 20 years. It is needless to say that, in the light of the madness of this collaboration, they must have seen it coming. To celebrate it, the two protagonists offered Palace (the British skateboard brand) to take charge. A touch of glam and 80’s feel, contrast with the usual rigor of the former. In support of this partnership, French football legend, Zinedine Zidane, took part in an unprecedented film and photo shoot, alongside another legend, Lucas Puig, whom skateboarders revere.
