Ulysse Nardin unveils a new collaboration with fashion designer and urban artist Amoureuxpeintre, for a reinterpretation of the Blast Skeleton X. The 42 mm watch stands out for its frosted sapphire crystal dial, which partially conceals the UN-371 movement, creating a seductive, blurred effect. X-shaped and rectangular bridges stand out like silent sentinels, while anthracite skeleton hands with Super-LumiNova inserts stand out against the monochrome background.
Kyrgyz-born, Moscow-based Amoureuxpeintre brings his minimalist, avant-garde style to watchmaking, inspired by the frosted panels that separate office workspaces. The back of the watch echoes the hazy aesthetic, with a satin-finished window and the designer’s name engraved. The Blast (Amoureuxpeintre), with a sandblasted titanium case and Alcantara strap, is a limited edition of just 29 pieces, offered at EUR 33,100. In short, a marriage between avant-garde watchmaking and luxury streetwear.
