Triumph x Breitling : Man in a Hurry

An adaptation of the eponymous novel by Paul Morand, ‘The Man in a Hurry’ sees the main character embodied by Alain Delon burn the candle at both ends in the mid 70s. Splendid, chic, energetic, the French actor shines while driving at 200km/h speed. At that time, speed was a sign of power, and informal motorcycle races were organized across the Channel: it was the café racers. As the name suggests, from bar to bar, people challenged each other in crazy epics, equipped with motorcycles that they had prepared themselves. The success is such that this style of motorcycle gives its name to a category very trendy bike, of which Triumph is one of the specialists. At the time, Breitling offered a chronograph inspired by these new speed enthusiasts, the Top Time. A robust bi-compax model, supposed to allow riders to keep an eye on their performance. In the wake of a new partnership with Triumph, Breitling is now offering a contemporary version of the chronograph in the steel blue of the famous Triumph Thunderbird of the 1960s, the queen of café racers. The ideal partner for contemporary men in a hurry.
