The rooftop of French designer Philippe Starck’s brand-new TOO hotel offers a breathtaking view from 120 meters above the ground. Designed by Jean Nouvel, the building consists of a double tower (Tour Duo 2) and casts a new light on the 13th arrondissement of Paris – an area where luxury hotels are hard to find. This location is not surprising, given that luxury hotels tend to revitalize otherwise quiet neighbourhoods. A clear example of this success is Mama Shelter, which has finally made the 20th arrondissement the hip place it was meant to be. As for the rest, it’s pure Stark style. Those who love him won’t be disappointed. Those who don’t appreciate his style will miss one of the most beautiful sunsets in the capital.
