The machine was discreetly exhibited at the last edition of the elegance contest at Villa d’Este on the shores of Lake Como. After causing quite a stir, BMW decided to produce it. While the concept of a neo-retro motorcycle, combining technological avant-garde and 50’s aesthetics is nothing new for BMW, nothing like this had been proposed until now. With nearly 2l of cylinder capacity, the Munich signature flat twin is simply the largest and most virtuous motorcycle ever offered by the manufacturer. Truck torque and an ultra-reactive gearbox make this bobber the new holy grail. A real bridge  between yesterday and tomorrow, this new means of transport would have been perfect for Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible adventures.
