A big name in architecture and owner of his eponymous group, David Rockwell has put his own, sharp and unique twist on a lesser-known object : the rug. Against all common preconceptions, the rug has become an endless source of creativity for many interior designers. It is sometimes considered as an atwork in its own right, so much so that you would think twice before walking on it. More so, it seems some rugs are destined to hang on a wall rather than be laid on the ground hidden under the sofa.
